The prayer shawls are made by members of the congregation and are regularly given to members and friends who are going through a stressful time in their life.  During the prayers of the church we will ask for God’s blessing both for those who have handcrafted the shawls and for the yet unknown recipients of them.  Through the years this ministry of the congregation has comforted many individuals and reinforced God’s message of hope.

Since the inception of St. Paul’s Prayer Shawl Ministry in March 2007, approximately 150 prayer shawls have been presented to our members, as well as relatives, friends and neighbors of our church family who are in need.  Every year in October we Bless the Prayer Shawls made during the year.
