Outreach

St. Paul’s has a wide variety of services they provide to the community and to the world to teach the World that God is Love.

We have members involved with the Food Pantry,  Bridge of Hope, St. Paul’s Preschool, Prayer Shawls, Tutoring, .  We also support the Lutheran World Relief organization.  Our Social Ministry Committee is working with Jackson Elementary School and their needs.

If you are into recycling, listed below are several places to recycle clothing, household items, plastic, and cardboard and paper:

We collect clothing for Union Lutheran Church’s Clothing Ministry and your help is requested.  Union collects “gently used” clothing (and shoes) for its clothing closet and offers it free of charge to needy families in the York City community.  A bin has been placed in the Good Shepherd room to collect any clothing you would like to donate.  If you have large donations, you may take them directly to Union Lutheran Church.  Simply call them to arrange a time.

Domestic Violence and Victim Services are directed to ACCESS-York (Program of the YWCA) 717-846-5400.

Additional information on these services can be found in our web page under Service and in Our Church Newsletter.
