Nurturing Faithful Families—Summer 2024
Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 PM

The Christian education committee is preparing for a summer of intergenerational fellowship, learning and fun. On 10 Tuesday evenings from, June 11 through August 13, we will gather to nurture faithful stewardship families. A simple supper will be served at 5:30 PM followed by some music and songs. At 6:15 PM the evening’s theme will be presented. At 6:30 PM time for reflection and to participate in an activity specific to the theme will be provided. 7:00 PM there will be some time for recreation. At 7:15 PM we will have a summary of the evening and the closing prayer. We will need people to help with leading, music, set-up,
cooking and serving, and clean up.

The 10 themes:
June 11 – Stories of Stewardship
June 18 – Biblical Good Stewards
June 25 – Holy Spirit/Stewardship of Grace
July 2 – Stewards of the love of God (especially kid focused week)
July 9 – Food to Share
July 16 – Stewards of the Body of Christ
July 23 – Faith, Fellowship and Fun
July 30 – God’s World, Our World
Aug. 6 – God’s Steward’s Celebrate
Aug. 13 – Picnic at Kain Park (entire congregation invited)

Mark your calendar now. The first 9 sessions will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Enter through the Springettsbury Ave. Entrance. Gather in Christ Hall for the meal and for the session. The last session on Tuesday August 13 is a picnic at Kain Park. Everyone is invited to come and join in nurturing faithful stewardship families! St. Paul’s subscribes to this magazine for our families with young children sending it directly to your home.  Take time to read the stories with your children and try out some of the activities.
