Cantabile Bell choir

The Cantabile Bell Choir will begin practices again in September.  Information will be posted when available.

The Combined Children’s Choirs performed on Mother’s Day and did a great job.

Our young musicians in The Cantabile Bell Choir have been doing a great job and have come so far since September.  They performed November 18 and December 23 to ring in Christmas.  On January 27, nine of our young musicians had their first performance of the new year.  Some of these children play as many as four bells.  Amazing!!!  Click on the link below (1-IMG 3576) to hear a clip from their performance.

The Cantabile Bell Choir is made up of students in grades 2-6.  Students as young as 1st grade will be taken if parents feel they can handle a 45 minute rehearsal.  No prior music experience is necessary.  We play some pieces for handbells and Orff instruments.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:15 p.m. in the new Music Suite on the first floor and the choir plays approximately once a month at the 10:30 a.m. service.
