York Conference of Lutherans Tutoring Program

St. Paul’s is one of several churches that support the York Conference of Lutherans Tutoring Program.  Children (grades 1-6) have an opportunity to work with volunteer tutors Monday evenings at Christ Lutheran or Tuesday evenings at Union Lutheran.  One of the ways we help is by providing snacks for the children participating in the program.  St. Paul’s has been assigned November 14 & 15, 2016 to provide snacks and March 6 & 7, 2017.  There are usually around 30 children and snacks consist of a juice box or large container of juice and a treat that can be homemade or purchased.  If you would like to volunteer to provide snacks in either November or March, please speak to Janet Moore, or contact the office at 717-843-8155.

Tutors are always needed as well.  One tutor/one student!  If you feel a desire to serve in that way, please speak to Pastor Reep or Amanda Donley at YCLTP or visit the York Conference of Lutherans Tutoring Program; website shown below for detailed information.

Tutors meet with students from 7:00-8:15 p.m.

Please think of this as an opportunity for yourself or an opportunity for someone you know.

Questions, or to volunteer, please contact Amanda Donley, director, call 717-873-0928 or yeltutoring@gmail.com.
