Benevolence Committee

Get Ready, Get Involved!!!

Each year St. Paul’s Congregation has set aside a portion of our giving to be used for charitable missions and projects to benefit our members and neighbors locally, regionally, nationally and worldwide.  Start thinking about ministry projects within the congregation or ones focused in the neighborhood and world.  Funding needed for projects to be carried out  in 2022 should be received by April 30!  Please prayerfully consider new ministries and organizations that could benefit from our gifts of time, talent, and money and pick up an application to get the process started.

St. Paul’s Benevolence Committee has in the past approved assistance to the following entities:  the Bridge of Hope National Campaign, a local York County Hospice, Lutheran World Relief, Hurricane Maria relief, a mission trip to Tanzania, and St. Paul’s Education Committee.  Thank you to all of those who have previously submitted applications.

We will be accepting applications  for 2022 beginning in March but requests are always welcome and can be submitted anytime; even if out of cycle.  Please be aware of those who are in need of God’s help and assist them by requesting a gift from St. Paul’s Benevolence Fund.  Get involved!  Pick up and fill out an application and submit to the Benevolence Committee for consideration.  Applications can be found in the back of the Church on bright pink paper or by clicking on the Template-Application link below and printing it out on your home printer.  We are flexible and applications may be sent in via email or sent to or dropped off at the office.

Any questions may be directed to committee members: Amber Dull, Rhada Hartmann, Kathryn Wicker, Melissa Yakim, Becky Bingham or Pastor Reep.
